Why I Febfast
I’m taking on Febfast to support people in crisis. After struggling silently for a while, I hit breaking point, rock bottom. I had an army of loved ones around me, yet still felt alone. With their love and support I was diagnosed with PTSD, GAD and depressive symptoms. The last 18 months has been an uphill battle, but I’m finally seeing the other side. I was lucky in the sense that I had a beautiful army of close family and friends around me. I can’t imagine how horrible mental illness would be for those who don’t have anyone to reach out to. That’s why I’m doing febfast. To raise money for someone who is in the position I was, to not feel so alone. To feel that even strangers out there care about them. My goal is to raise enough money for 10 individuals to receive crisis care when they need it most. Thank you for your help 🤍

That’s more than 3,000 people every single day who just need someone to listen. By skipping the sip for one month, I’m not only giving my body a break – I’m helping make sure Lifeline can be there, anytime and anywhere, for the people who need it most.
It’s a small challenge for me, but it could mean life-changing support for someone else.
Together we can ensure Lifeline can continue to be there 24/7 so that no one has to face their toughest moments alone.
