Febfast 2026

Why I Febfast

This February, I am taking part in Febfast in memory of my dear friend Nat, who left us far too soon to suicide. Losing Nat has been incredibly hard. As one of the last people in touch with her, the weight of knowing I couldn’t do anything to bring her back has stayed with me. Her loss is a painful reminder of how deeply suicide and depression affect not only those who are struggling, but also the people left behind who love them. By doing Febfast, I hope to honour Nat’s life, raise awareness, and support others who may be walking a similar path, whether they are struggling themselves or grieving someone they love. “I was glad, Nat, that you were among us. Your life we honour, your memory we cherish, In grief at your death, but in gratitude for your life and for the privilege of sharing it with you.” Thank you for supporting this cause and for helping keep conversations around mental health alive. 💛

Every 24 seconds, someone in Australia reaches out to Lifeline
for help

That’s more than 3,000 people every single day who just need someone to listen. By skipping the sip for one month, I’m not only giving my body a break – I’m helping make sure Lifeline can be there, anytime and anywhere, for the people who need it most.
It’s a small challenge for me, but it could mean life-changing support for someone else.

Together we can ensure Lifeline can continue to be there 24/7 so that no one has to face their toughest moments alone.

MY PROGRESS

Check out my Febfast calendar to see my progress! You can choose a date to sponsor me with a One-OFF Pass. It will give me a night off my challenge while still supporting Australians in crisis.

MY IMPACT SO FAR

I've raised $807 so far - that's 20 calls answered for Lifeline's crisis support hotline.

Every $39 helps power another call, offering hope and crucial moments of connection to people in their toughest moments. Will you back me with a donation?
