Why I Febfast
I don’t mind a beer like most of us, but I’m doing FebFast this month to raise funding for mental health. I’ve seen friends and family struggle with alcohol dependence and the impact it can have long-term, not just on them, but on the people around them. It really opened my eyes to see how closely alcohol and mental health can be linked. So for me, this isn’t just about skipping drinks. It’s about raising awareness for mental health and reminding people that support is out there. If giving up a few beers for a month can start conversations, raise some funds, or even help one person reach out for support, then it’s worth it. Cheers.

That’s more than 3,000 people every single day who just need someone to listen. By skipping the sip for one month, I’m not only giving my body a break – I’m helping make sure Lifeline can be there, anytime and anywhere, for the people who need it most.
It’s a small challenge for me, but it could mean life-changing support for someone else.
