Why I Febfast
This February I’m giving the tins a spell and doing ‘FebFast’, yep, going booze-free (pray for me), to raise some coin for ‘Lifeline’, who pick up the phone when people are doing it tough. I’ve had a few rocky moments over the last couple of years, and I learned pretty quickly that having a yarn with someone can actually make a massive difference. Turns out bottling things up (unlike beers) isn’t the move. Having support helped me heaps, and that’s exactly what Lifeline does day in, day out, with no judgement, just someone on the other end of the line when you need it most. So for me, FebFast isn’t just about dodging schooners, it’s about giving back, having a bit of a reset, and backing mental health. Also keen to prove I can survive a month without a cold one…barely. If you’ve got a few spare bucks and feel like helping out, I’d really appreciate it. Every little bit helps keep Lifeline there for people who need a chat. Cheers legends ❤️ Beers back in March 🍻😅
Every 24 seconds, someone in Australia reaches out to Lifeline for help
That’s more than 3,000 people every single day who just need someone to listen. By skipping the sip for one month, I’m not only giving my body a break – I’m helping make sure Lifeline can be there, anytime and anywhere, for the people who need it most.
It’s a small challenge for me, but it could mean life-changing support for someone else.
Together we can ensure Lifeline can continue to be there 24/7 so that no one has to face their toughest moments alone.
MY PROGRESS
Check out my Febfast calendar to see my progress! You can choose a date to sponsor me with a One-OFF Pass. It will give me a night off my challenge while still supporting Australians in crisis.
MY IMPACT SO FAR
I've raised $331 so far - that's 8 calls answered for Lifeline's crisis support hotline.
Every $39 helps power another call, offering hope and crucial moments of connection to people in their toughest moments. Will you back me with a donation?

Proud of you, mate. I don't have much atm, starting your own business is farken expensive, but mental health in Australia needs all the help it can get. Happy to show my support (even if it isn't much) because if your family won't back you, who will!

You're an absolute legend. So proud to have you as family.
