Febfast 2026

Why I Febfast

I *thought* I was doing FebFast just to extort money from friends in the name of a good cause, having decided that a bit of a break was needed after a long summer school holidays anyway. But the more I think about it, the more I'm driven to raise money for Lifeline specifically. A sudden loss just before Christmas hit surprisingly hard and if the funds we raise together this month help just one person, their family, colleagues and friends, that will be a massive thing. Thank you for your donation!

Every 24 seconds, someone in Australia reaches out to Lifeline
for help

That’s more than 3,000 people every single day who just need someone to listen. By skipping the sip for one month, I’m not only giving my body a break – I’m helping make sure Lifeline can be there, anytime and anywhere, for the people who need it most.
It’s a small challenge for me, but it could mean life-changing support for someone else.

Together we can ensure Lifeline can continue to be there 24/7 so that no one has to face their toughest moments alone.

MY PROGRESS

Check out my Febfast calendar to see my progress! You can choose a date to sponsor me with a One-OFF Pass. It will give me a night off my challenge while still supporting Australians in crisis.

MY IMPACT SO FAR

I've raised $204 so far - that's 5 calls answered for Lifeline's crisis support hotline.

Every $39 helps power another call, offering hope and crucial moments of connection to people in their toughest moments. Will you back me with a donation?

My Updates

Why I'm doing this...

Saturday 24th Jan
Initially, I thought I signed up to this to extort funds from friends for a worthy cause, for something I was going to do anyway (side-eye to you, school holidays liver damage!) But then I thought more about why Lifeline is a charity that really resonates with me, and a loss due to suicide I felt surprisingly deeply just before Christmas...

Even the most seemingly together, happy, kick-arse people can be struggling without us having the faintest idea, and if these donations help just one person get through another day, that's a brilliant cause to work for. Thank you.

This is for Heather and all who find themselves in similar spaces XX

<Gods I'm dreading Feb already 😜>
