Why I Febfast
I’m going alcohol-free this February to support Lifeline. I know what it’s like to reach a crisis point and need someone to listen — I’ve been one of the 3,000 people who call Lifeline every day. This is my way of giving back and helping ensure support is always there, 24/7.
Why I’m Giving Up Alcohol for a Month
This February, I’m giving up alcohol for a reason that’s deeply personal to me.
I understand what it feels like to reach a crisis point. I know how hard it can be to ask for help, because I have been one of the 3,000 people who call Lifeline every day — reaching out in a moment when I needed support the most.
That call mattered. Having someone listen without judgement reminded me that I wasn’t alone.
By giving up alcohol for the month, I’m raising funds and awareness so Lifeline can continue to provide that same support to others — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Together, we can help ensure Lifeline can keep doing the incredible work they do, answering calls and offering hope when it’s needed most.
Thank you for standing with me and supporting this cause 💛
MY PROGRESS
Check out my Febfast calendar to see my progress! You can choose a date to sponsor me with a One-OFF Pass. It will give me a night off my challenge while still supporting Australians in crisis.
MY IMPACT SO FAR
I've raised $148 so far - that's 3 calls answered for Lifeline's crisis support hotline.
Every $39 helps power another call, offering hope and crucial moments of connection to people in their toughest moments. Will you back me with a donation?
